Her answer: The daily closeness to the jungle and ocean as well as the simple pace it allows you to live around warm hearted people who share the love of the same things :)

We asked her, with all that traveling you do, what is the special thing that always brings you back to Hawaii?
Her answer: I lived in 12 different places by the time I turned 13 and that’s when my family moved to Oahu. Although I continue to travel a lot as an adult, I always gravitate back to Hawaii because I get to see my family and friends while still continuing to pursue all of my passions — sailing, free-diving, hiking, yoga, and taking photos.

Her answer: Getting to see the world through a child’s eyes again. The mundane and ordinary becomes magical. Being able to experience a whole other level of love you’ve never felt before

Her answer: Hawaii’s people, culture and landscape inspire me on a deep level. I hope my work encourages others to cherish and protect the places they call home
